Attorney Deetta Roncone-Gondek graduated from Adelphi University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology. Attorney Roncone-Gondek subsequently attended Quinnipiac University School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate in 2012, with bar admission to the State of Connecticut following in November of 2012. Attorney Roncone-Gondek is the principal attorney and owner of the Law Office of Deetta C. Roncone, LLC which was opened in 2014. Her practice focuses on child protection matters in juvenile court, delinquency matters and as a certified guardian ad litem, serving both as assigned counsel for the State of Connecticut, as well as counsel for private clients who need representation in juvenile and criminal court proceedings. Attorney Roncone-Gondek has served as a Guardian Ad Litem to minor’s in criminal court who have been victims of sexual abuse and physical abuse. Attorney Roncone-Gondek has extensive experience in working with families, parents, legal guardians and children who have experienced family-based trauma and outside trauma, and in helping those clients navigate the difficult and often disorienting experience of Connecticut’s child protective services process. Further, Attorney Roncone-Gondek has ample experience in handling matters associated with the Department of Children and Families, from the investigation process through the judicial process for all parties involved.
Attorney Roncone-Gondek has been named as one of SuperLawyers’ “Rising Stars” for eight consecutive years, from 2015-2022. In 2017, Attorney Roncone-Gondek was recognized by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (NAFLA) as one of the top family law attorneys under the age of 40 in Connecticut. When not working, you can find Attorney Roncone Gondek running, pursuing photography and being a mom to two young children and a house full of animals. She is an Upstate New York native and a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan.
